Introduction: Diabetes is a group of metabolic disorders characterized by high blood sugar levels. The etiology represented complex interaction between genetic and environmental factors. Metabolic contribute to the pathogenesis insulin resistance diabetes mellitus development. insulin`s action in adipocytes associated with an increase lipolysis concentration free fatty acids. Stress plays significant role diabetes`s affects disease`s evolution (debut, progression, chronicity) through behavior changes. An analysis was performed based on smoker status includes other information about patients' comorbidities. study descriptive retrospective, analyzing 47 patients inclusion criteria (patients type 2 diabetes, people determinations lipid profile glucose, females males, with/without BMI values, existing pathologies, hereditary antecedents. Objective. This paper aims highlight panel changes mellitus, order understand challenges disease management, particularities each. Discussions: has negative impact terms it generates (treatment disruption/diet, incorrect monitoring treatment). Smoking another factor that ability influence level mechanisms favored it. Conclusions: been shown be higher risk dyslipidemia. It hard quantify stress also determine its diabetes` etiology. itself could source due management requires-especially treatment.

Failure of Intravenous Lipid Emulsion to Reduce Diazinon-induced Acute Toxicity: a Pilot Study in Rats

Diazinon (DZN) is a synthetic organophosphorus (OPs) insecticide widely used in agricultural and household applications. OPs, particularly DZN, are highly lipid soluble liquids. Intravenous lipid emulsion (ILE) has been shown to reduce toxicity caused by some lipid soluble agents. We evaluated the antidote effect of ILE on acute toxicity of DZN. Twenty-four Sprague-Dawley female rats weightin...

Conserved Metabolic Changes in Nondiabetic and Type 2 Diabetic Bariatric Surgery Patients: Global Metabolomic Pilot Study

The goal of this study was to provide insight into the mechanism by which bariatric surgical procedures led to weight loss and improvement or resolution of diabetes. Global biochemical profiling was used to evaluate changes occurring in nondiabetic and type 2 diabetic (T2D) patients experiencing either less extreme sleeve gastrectomy or a full gastric bypass. We were able to identify changes in...
